The board of directors has adopted a new Privacy Policy to keep the Southeastern Chapter in line with privacy and data security requirements specific to the European Union (EU) but which will also be beneficial and information for our members in the United States. The impetus for this change is the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Although, to the best of our knowledge, the Southeastern Chapter does not have any members or member representatives who are citizens of the EU, EASA International does, so it makes sense for our chapter to mirror the privacy policies adopted by our parent organization.
